Lanificio Drago was founded in 1973 by Umberto and Laura Drago in Lessona, Biella, the heart of Italy's most revered textile district. What began as a specialized spinning mill became a fully integrated wool mill in 1993 when the Drago family acquired Lanificio Fintes, giving them control from raw fiber to finished cloth. Today, the second generation runs the company with the same family-first philosophy. Drago is best known for their ultra-lightweight wool innovations, engineering cloths that perform like much heavier fabric while weighing a fraction of it. Their sport coat cloths feature textured weaves and patterns that give jackets personality and depth.
